Rio Marié 2022 Season Fishing Report | Week 12 November 6 to 13

Weather: We got mostly sunny days.

Temperatures between 25 ºC and 40ºC

River Conditions:

The water level dropped fast and the river was low again by the end of the week.  

Fishing Summary: 

The anglers found low water during their whole stay, so lots of fish were seen on the sandbars.

Fishing Stats:

Number of Anglers: 8 from the USA, 3 from Brazil and 1 from Slovenia.

Peacock Bass Caught: 601

Temensis Over 10lbs: 17   

Temensis Over 15lbs: 16

Temensis Over 20lbs: 3

Highlights of the week:

Do you ever have the feeling that everything is working in your favor? That was the feeling Igor had the entire week. He came to beat his 74 cm. personal record for peacock bass length, and he did it several times. Catching big fish after big fish everyday, Igor ended the week with a whopping 89 cm. new personal record. We bet that’s going to be a lot tougher to beat, right Igor?
