Week 1: August 22 - 29
Weather: The weather was somewhat unpredictable during our first week with some sun as well as overcast and rainy days.
Temperature: 30-32ºC
Water Conditions: Water levels rose a little after some rain at the headwaters of the Marié and Turi. The water temperatures ranged from 26-29ºC.
Fishing Conditions: Even with some rising water and colder temperatures, we had a lot of midday surface action. All the spots downstream brought good results. The fishing upstream was less effective, but we found a good number of butterfly peacock bass on the Rubo River.
