This week pushed the river into legendary territory, with over one hundred peacock bass surpassing the 80 cm mark in less than eight weeks.
And that doesn’t even include the mythical 90 cm giants that continue to define the Marié as the ultimate big-fish destination on Earth.

With stable weather and flawless water levels, our group from the USA turned every stretch of river into an opportunity. From double hookups with 20-pounders to one of the largest fish of the entire season, this week was a masterclass in what the Marié stands for — precision, persistence, and the relentless pursuit of something extraordinary.

Determined to finish strong, he landed a 20 lb fish in the morning — then another 20 lb trophy in the afternoon, an impressive double that showcased both his patience and precision. For any angler, two fish of that caliber in a single day is a rare and well-earned reward.

Katie: Known for her calm focus and unshakable connection to the water, Katie once again proved her skill on the Marié. In one of those moments when everything aligns, she landed a spectacular 88 cm, 23 lb peacock bass — the largest of the week and one of the standout fish of the 2025 season.
