Weather: We had a mixed sunny week with some rainy days.

Temperatures between: 28ºC and 39 ºC

River Conditions: River started to drop once more. Conditions became ideal as water level reached a near perfect mark for fishing.

Fishing Summary:  

This week, the river hit a perfect level, igniting a surge in fish activity. The result? One of the season's finest weeks for anglers, highlighted by the thrilling capture of 10 fish over 20 lbs

Highlights of the week:

Gabriel, an avid angler from Argentina, embarked on a fishing adventure to Rio Marié in the Amazon rainforest. Despite elusive catches, his persistence paid off on the morning of the last day. The 90cm-long peacock bass put up a fierce fight, taking all the fly line and another 20 meters of backing. With skill and determination, Gabriel reeled in the monstrous catch. This ultimate triumph became a vivid memory of perseverance for the Argentine angler and a testament to the giant fish that inhabit the Marié River's waters.
