Week seven opened a different chapter of the 2026 season as the operation split between two rivers. Part of the group traveled to the Turi River for an exclusive headwaters camp, while the remaining anglers continued fishing the Rio Marié from Untamed Amazon.
The Turi River group pushed into some of the furthest upstream water the team has ever explored there, while the Marié group continued working different sections of the main river. With water levels rising quickly throughout the week, both operations had to keep adapting as conditions changed.
By the end of the week, both rivers had delivered significant catches. The Turi River produced trophy-class peacock bass from remote upstream water, while the Rio Marié added another exceptional fish above the 90 cm mark to the 2026 season.

River Conditions: Water levels rose quickly throughout the week. The rapid rise required continued adaptation as the team divided its efforts between the Rio Marié and the Turi River, evaluating different stretches of water as conditions developed. Weather Conditions: Mixed weather conditions marked the week, with water temperatures averaging approximately 26°C. |

|Unforgettable Moments of the Week
Barry and the Third 90 cm Fish of the Season
Barry added an important milestone to the 2026 season with an exceptional 24 lb peacock bass measuring more than 90 cm.
The catch became the third fish over 90 cm landed this season, another significant result for a size class that remains one of the defining benchmarks of trophy peacock bass fishing on the Rio Marié.
Fish of this caliber are rare, and each one adds another meaningful chapter to the season.

Ivan at the Upper Reaches of the Turi
During the Turi River camp, Ivan was fishing in one of the furthest upstream areas the team has ever explored.
Near the end of the day, that push into remote water paid off when he landed a 22 lb peacock bass.
Finding a trophy-class fish this far upstream added significance and showed what can happen when the operation keeps pushing into the upper stretches of the Turi.

Maxim's First Peacock Bass
Maxim's first-ever peacock bass set an unusually high benchmark from the very beginning.
Fishing during the Turi camp, he landed a 21 lb peacock bass as his debut catch.
For an angler experiencing the species for the first time, beginning with a fish of this size made the moment one of the week's most distinctive stories.

|Looking Ahead
With the river rising quickly, the coming days will continue to require close observation and adjustment from the guide team.
Week seven also demonstrated the value of operating across different sections of this immense fishery. From the Rio Marié to remote reaches of the Turi River, each area presented its own opportunities as conditions continued to change.
The focus now turns to how the rising water develops and where the next fishing windows will emerge.
